這是9/30日我收到一封信，xmarks是我重要的Browser應用程式之一，它的重要性在我們這種會使用多台電腦的人身上，尤其重要，但他要停止服務了，好東西不一定會一直存在下去，因為它是business，免費服務真的很棒，但高手也要吃飯，它需要錢。

雖然它已經要停止服務了，而我在期限之前也不太想找替代方案，過因為它帶給我的便利性，是其他人無法取代的，我決定留文，留下歷史。

科技在人類歷史沒幾年，還沒有什麼叫絕對，Microsoft在OS、Office會永遠獨大嗎？Google的尋搜會永遠第一嗎(在中國已經證明：不是)？

不管Microsoft或Google這種國際級的公司，都有一點來支援他們的免費服務：income，這才是長久之道。如果有一天OS及Office免費了，我相信Microsoft除非能開發出另一種獲利模式，不然很難生存下去，Google也一樣，如果它的關鍵字廣告利潤不見了，我們使用的Gmail、Blogspot…沒有一個能生存下去。

所以Income為先，以免費來吸引人潮，然後呢？人潮創造錢潮，為終極目標，創造不出來，迪士尼樂園一樣會倒。
